If I had to pick 5 items to be stranded on a desert island with, this claw grabber would probably be one of them. A real lifesaver sometimes when that last screw you need has bounced away underneath something. I also use it to retrieve socks in the laundry room and pick up nasty litter that I don't care to handle. I've had mine for many years and it's proven quite durable.
